Our Airstream belonged to my mother's cousin who purchased it to use as his home when working all over the country at nuclear sites instead of using his per diam for hotels. Then it sat for many years in storage, virtually new. He found out how I really wanted a vintage airstream and sold it to us. We drove across the country to Maryland where we rescued it and brought it home. After some restoration work, we finally took our first real adventure in it to Camp Airstream at Yellowstone last year, 2025.
