Hi, my name is Don Ambos and I've worked at Airstream for 35 years. Since I retired 11 years ago, I have been coming back daily to give factory tours. I have taken thousands of people around this factory, and you know what? Every tour is just a bit different. So if you're all ready, please put on your hardhat and we'll see how Airstream builds the highest quality travel trailers in the world.We have been making trailers here at our Jackson Center Ohio plant since 1952, however Airstream started manufacturing trailers in the 1930's. Over the years we have followed our founder's vision of design, innovation and quality to maintain our position as the industry leader. Wally Byam once said "let's not make any changes-let's make only improvements." And that's exactly what we have been doing for over 70 years.
We'll start our tour in the chassis fabricating section. Just give a click and we'll get this tour rolling.

Tours are: Monday- Tuesday- Wednesday-Thursday- Friday at 2 pm
Friday Tours are after normal production hrs.
This is a walking tour approximately ¾ of a mile in length.
The tour begins in the Service Lobby and travels outside to the production facility.
Eye protection and hearing protection are required. No sandals or open toe shoes.
Request for special needs must be made in advance.
