Iconic and Accessible:

Bambi Is the Perfect Start to Your Airstream Adventure

If you’ve spotted a compact Airstream at a campground and thought, “That looks so cute and perfect,” chances are it was a Bambi. With three floor plans—16RB, 20FB, and 22FB—Bambi is an ideal entry point into the Airstream experience. Each layout includes dedicated sleeping space, a convertible dinette, a fully equipped galley, and an onboard bathroom, giving you all the essentials in a beautifully efficient footprint.

And thanks to its lightweight design, the 16‑foot model can be towed by most smaller trucks and many SUVs. For countless new owners, that means the vehicle already in the driveway is all they need to start their Airstream adventure.

Approachable and Inviting

Bambi is the perfect entryway into travel trailer culture, designed to give tent campers a major upgrade and make the Airstream lifestyle feel immediately within reach.

Its interior balances openness with efficiency, using multifunctional layouts and thoughtful furniture to make every inch efficient. Panoramic windows brighten the living area, while clean lines and well‑considered proportions create an uncluttered, welcoming environment for easy mornings, relaxed evenings, and spontaneous trips.

Comfort comes naturally in Bambi’s living space. Seating is supportive and durable, surfaces are simple to maintain, and storage is placed exactly where you expect it. Whether you’re transitioning from car camping or choosing to travel lighter, the interior feels intuitive and inviting—designed to help you get out exploring with minimal setup.

The galley is arranged for everyday use, with appliances positioned for straightforward meal prep and quick cleanup. Stainless steel components and resilient finishes stand up to life on the road, while organized storage keeps essentials within reach. The layout supports daily cooking without overwhelming the living area, maintaining a balanced feel across all floor plans.

Bambi’s sleeping and bath areas are designed for comfort and convenience. Dedicated beds and convertible dinettes offer flexible arrangements, and integrated storage keeps personal items tidy. Compact yet complete bathrooms provide onboard ease without compromising the rest of the interior, making overnight stops and weekend getaways feel effortless.

The décor options—like the coastal‑inspired Dune or the deeper, more grounded Ocean—create a calm, inviting atmosphere that’s ready for any adventure. Neutral palettes, durable fabrics, and simple finishes make personalization easy, giving travelers a flexible foundation that evolves with their gear, routines, and memories. In every way, Bambi is built to deliver big adventures with approachable, beautifully considered design.

Iconic Features in an Easy to Tow Package

Bambi carries Airstream’s iconic riveted aluminum shell in one of its most lightweight, easy‑to‑tow forms.

Its aerodynamic profile supports confident handling and smooth maneuverability, while durable aluminum construction delivers long‑term reliability. The exterior feels unmistakably Airstream—scaled for simpler travel and a wider range of tow vehicles.

On the road, Bambi’s single‑axle design creates a towing experience that feels composed and manageable even with an SUV. Lane changes feel predictable, and parking in tighter spaces becomes far less intimidating. Features like back-up camera support and thoughtful weight distribution help new owners feel comfortable from the very first trip.

Outside, Bambi extends the living space with functional features that make time outdoors easy. A manual ZipDee® awning provides quick shade and shelter, an exterior shower offers hot‑and‑cold convenience, and dedicated storage keeps gear accessible. Everything is designed to minimize setup and maximize relaxation, encouraging spontaneous stops and effortless transitions from towing to unwinding.

Together, these elements make Bambi one of Airstream’s most approachable trailers—lightweight, aerodynamic, and designed to inspire confidence. It’s a travel companion built for everyday adventures, weekend escapes, and the freedom to roam without the stress of managing a larger rig.
