Touring Coaches

What’s the Best Class B RV for You? Let’s Find Out.

Airstream Class B RV Interior

Let's compare four Airstream Class B Touring Coaches to each other to give you a clear picture of which one would be best for you and your lifestyle.

If you’ve been shopping around for a motorized RV, you know by now that Class B RVs are smaller and more streamlined than Class A motorhomes. They’re often called camper vans, as they’re most often built on Sprinter van chassis and customized within. We call our Class B RVs “touring coaches.”

Our current Airstream Touring Coach lineup includes four models: the Atlas, the Interstate 24GL, the Interstate 24GT, and the Interstate 19. In this post, we’ll compare all four to each other and make it easy to tell which might be perfect for you and the way you love to travel. So let’s break this down one at a time.

We call the Atlas a Class B+ touring coach because it’s more spacious and luxurious than a typical Class B RV. In fact, it’s the most luxurious touring coach we’ve ever created.

The Atlas was inspired by the best-selling Airstream Interstate series, which combines legendary Mercedes-Benz® engineering and iconic Airstream modern design.

Solo Traveler or Minimalist?

The Interstate 19 is a solo traveler’s dream. If you’re hungry for a little of the van life experience but want to do so while surrounded by creature comforts like a real bathroom, galley, and closet, you’ll love how the 19 elevates the small space experience.
