An Exclusive Airstream Adventure in Yellowstone National Park

Looking to add something new and unique to your summer adventure schedule? Airstream has a great idea: an exclusive Yellowstone experience designed explicitly for Airstream owners. The Camp Airstream program offers a six-night stay with curated experiences, amenities and a focus on community. It’s an excellent opportunity to relax, adventure, and connect with fellow Airstream enthusiasts near one of America’s most beloved National Parks.

Red Rock RV Park in Island Park, Idaho, is a gateway to Yellowstone National Park. The park is 30 minutes from West Yellowstone, offers stunning views, and provides easy access to outdoor activities like hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing.

Operates Camp Airstream: Yellowstone?  Camp Airstream Yellowstone is a production of Airstream, Inc. in partnership with Open Road Resorts, which owns the Red Rock RV Park. 

Who Can Participate? This program is exclusively for Airstream owners. 

Camp Airstream’s $1,900 Rate Includes:

• Private Yellowstone Tour: An 8-hour guided tour offering attendees a chance to explore the geology, wildlife, and culture of the Yellowstone region. The tour itinerary varies weekly, featuring options such as the Wildlife Tour, Old Faithful Tour, Wildlife & Waterfall Tour, and Hiking & Hot Springs Tour.
• History and Hiking:  A visit to the historic Johnny Sacks Cabin, a hike in the Big Springs area of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, and a drive to Mesa Falls.
• Community Activities: Guests can enjoy a variety of communal events, which might include fireside music, wildlife presentation, photography tutorial, bird-watching class, and a stargazing event.
• Wellness: Enjoy a 60-minute massage from a local massage therapist in an onsite Airstream. Join us for an in-camp morning yoga class.
• Daily Happy Hours: A chance to kick back and share the day’s adventures with fellow guests.
• Hosted Meals: Two meals that reflect local food and culture.
• Optional Airstream Selected Experiences: Guests can book Airstream-approved special excursions at a discounted rate when they make their Camp Airstream reservations.
• Special Amenities: Complimentary bundle of firewood, two bags of ice and one bag of pick-up/drop-off laundry service. Additional firewood and ice will be offered at a 25% discount. 
• Dedicated Camp Airstream Host: A concierge to facilitate community engagement and assist attendees throughout the week.
• Full Hookup Campsite: An 'Airstream only' camping spot with full hookups and the best views in the campground.

These experiences and amenities, if purchased separately, would cost an estimated $3,000 for two people.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How many Camp Airstream campsites are available each week? Nine. 
• How many guests are allowed in a campsite? Your registration fee includes up to two people. Each additional person per site requires an additional charge. No more than four guests are allowed per campsite. The fee for additional guests under 21 is $150; over 21, $200 for the week. The private Yellowstone day tours are limited to 25 people. Additional campsite guests will be accommodated as space allows on a first-come, first-served basis for the Private Yellowstone Tour. 
• Are dogs allowed? Yes, dogs are welcome! Red Rock has a fenced dog-walking area and a dog washing station.
• What’s the cancellation policy and process? Reservations canceled at least 30 days before arrival will be charged 25% of the cost of the program rate ($475). If the reservation is canceled inside the 30 days, you’ll be charged 75% of the cost of the program rate ($1,425).
• Are there any Airstream size limits? No. Every Camp Airstream site can accommodate even the largest Airstream.
• Why should I book vs. doing this on my own? Camp Airstream brings together a package of special Yellowstone experiences, wraps them in the Airstream community and delivers that magical package at a price well below the cost of the individual outings and experiences.
• Why is this experience limited to Airstream owners? Airstreamers love two things: exploring natural beauty and being with other Airstream owners. Camp Airstream brings those two things together like peanut butter and jelly!
• How is the Wi-Fi at the location? Is it good enough for work? The WiFi at Red Rock RV Park will keep you connected via web browsing and email. Video calls and other high data transfer activities must be kept to a minimum, especially in times of high demand.

Do you love Airstream adventures and making new friends? Here’s your chance to do both! We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and community-minded host to help create unforgettable experiences at Camp Airstream: Yellowstone this summer.

If you can spend the summer helping fellow Airstreamers have an incredible experience, we’d like to hear from you. We are offering a total weekly stipend of $500 for host teams consisting of one or two people. If you can only do part of the summer, we’d still love to hear from you! 

We expect you will want to spend this amazing summer in your own Airstream. If not, we can provide accommodations in an on-site Airstream.
