Jackson Center, Ohio (February 18, 2015) – Airstream today announced the appointment of Bryan Melton as General Manager of Travel Trailers, effective immediately. Reporting directly to Airstream’s Vice President of Sales, Justin Humphreys, Melton will be responsible for all sales activities for the travel trailer division and management responsibilities for all Jackson Center factory sales representatives.
“As our travel trailer sales have surged over the last three years, we got to a point where we needed to add a General Manager to focus on this division and provide the leadership needed to continue this growth,” said Humphreys. “We are thrilled to welcome Bryan Melton to the team who will direct the sales effort for our iconic travel trailers. Bryan’s outside experiences in the high-end bicycle industry brings a new perspective to our team that will help us to continue to challenge the status quo of the RV industry, and find new innovative ways to help support our dealers’ retail efforts.”
Melton has spent his entire career in the bicycle industry having held senior sales management positions at industry leaders and premium manufacturers Giant and Felt. Melton’s experience in sales, marketing, customer service and product development will serve both Airstream and its dealers well.
In addition, Melton has been a proud Airstreamer since 2008 when he purchased a new International travel trailer that he and his family have enjoyed. The combination of senior channel sales management and passion for the Airstream product will stand Melton in good stead in his new role..
Bryan, his wife Jeanne and daughter Harper have relocated to Ohio, where he will be based at the Airstream corporate headquarters in Jackson Center.
