When Old Meets New

image3

Before I met Roger my life was pretty empty and loneliness was the only emotion I felt. I was going through a divorce and moved two states away from my children in order to regain my roots and my sense of "self." I met Roger online, he too had been struggling with divorce and lost his family and his livelihood. He bought an Airstream brand new, and we love her. We took her on many adventures and became best friends and a couple. Recently he rescued a 1967 Airstream and placed it adjacent to the new Airstream. We restored it into a living area a bedroom bar combo, and love spending time with her. The two Airstreams give us a place we call the Hideaway. Two separate areas yet twice the fun. The older stays put. The newer one with kitchen and bathroom goes on adventures and is also used and waiting for us to return to the Hideaway. These Airstreams have bonded us together, and have been our therapy to open up our new chapter in our lives. We couldn't have made it through these hard times without them and helped to bring us together.

We love living riveted...
