Alumapalooza 2015 was my first Airstream rally and it definitely won't be my last! Over 200 Airstreams gathered in Jackson Center, Ohio to celebrate the Airstream life and all things #LiveRiveted!
Unfortunately I did not bring my International Airstream with me to Alumapalooza (I need a little more experience towing first), but instead I brought my partner in crime, my mom. She is normally more of a Marriott gal, but she is quickly falling in love with the Airstream lifestyle!
Right away when we arrived, I went straight to the Airstream factory to pick up my packages I had sent. I was very excited to share my ODB Whiskey sauces to add some kick to the many barbecues at Alumapalooza. The sauces were a hit- I met a guy who loved them so much he put my barbecue sauce on his pork chops and my hot sauce in his Bloody Mary!
Right away after walking into Alumapolooza we were greeted by Curtis with a song, and then heard the announcement about 4pm Happy Hour in the tent! All the Airstreamers came together and had a good time.
In the two days I attended Alumapalooza, I had to take a tour of the Airstream factory! Two gentlemen who have been working at Airstream since the open of the factory gave my tour. Taking the tour tempted me to buy a new Airstream! It was just amazing to see how each trailer is built and what goes into it. After taking the factory tour I was able to promote my sauces. Even while taking cover from the rain, I had such a fun time meeting new Airstreamers and hearing their stories. You better believe that I will be back next year with my Airstream!
I love that the Airstream life is a true adventure. It is all about each person’s journey, and let me tell you, I love my journey as an Airstreamer!
