Community: a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common. A feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
While the Airstream community may not “live” in one specific place, there is a community that has grown across the country among Airstreamers. Community is an important and amazing thing. When you surround yourself with people who have similar characteristics, interests, and goals as you, you tend to find that “doing life” is a bit more enjoyable and full of great adventures.
We recently released a new Live Riveted Stories video on the Airstream community and Live Riveted lifestyle. One of our favorite ideas from the video is: “You see 2, 3, 4, 5 Airstreams going down the highway and people stop and go ‘Look at that!’”
And what a great sight to see – a community of Airstreamers living the Life Riveted life. Many people believe that the Airstream becomes a part of who you are. The people who are bonded in the Airstream community have 1 thing in common: aluminum.
However, we’ve seen that there are more things in common among Airstreamers than meets the eye. Airstreamers are:
- Dreamers
- Travelers
- Adventurers
- Doers
- Explorers
- Visionaries
- Trend-setters
Every day we get to see the adventurers of our community on social media from one side of the nation to the next. And something we love the most is how our community is always willing to lend a helping hand. For example, newcomers to the Airstream community may post a question on Facebook about how do something specific with their Airstream and we see other folks responding with ideas and suggestions, encouraging the Live Riveted lifestyle. We love that in the Airstream community, we have people all around the country in person and online ready to help with your trailer, provide travel ideas and tips, and more. The people are what makes the community – and we have amazing people.
Aluminum may be what unites us, but Live Riveted fuels us.
