Jessie Kresa

There are so many things to love about the Airstream community, but one of the things we love most about it is the people who are a part of it! It is hard and maybe even impossible to find another group of people who truly live riveted every single day.

Each person in this community is unique. And every person has a story… A unique story that will inspire you to chase your dreams and live riveted, no matter what. We had the pleasure of catching up with one such person recently—professional wrestler Jessie Kresa!

Jessie grew up in Minnesota with a loving and supportive family, including her mom and dad (who have been married for 40 years!) and a brother who’s her biggest fan. She was raised watching professional wrestling with the American Wrestling Association (AWA). Going to live shows was like being transported into another world where the wrestlers were larger-than-life superheroes. And Jessie just knew that she would be one of them one day.

Wrestling training began when Jessie still lived in Minnesota. But the day came when it was time to pack up her truck and begin her pro-wrestling journey. Jessie paid her dues to the profession early on, driving miles and miles to shows that might pay $40 if anything at all. After seven years, Jessie signed her first professional wrestling contract with Total Non Stop Wrestling on Spike TV, and after another seven years, created her own pro-wrestling persona, which continues on today.

What you might not expect is that along the way, Jessie fell in love with Airstreams. Two years ago, Jessie bought and renovated a 34-foot 1978 Airstream International, and the travel trailer has become a huge part of her life and her brand. After such a short time, her Airstream is already famous! The Airstream’s first visitor was Joey Fatone from the band NSYNC, where Joey filmed an episode of his show My Family Recipe Rocks. Recently, Jessie’s Airstream was featured in the winter 2014 issue of Airstream Life magazine!

Jessie’s next goal with her Airstream is to begin traveling with it and take it on tour. Jessie just came out with her own hot sauce and BBQ sauce and wants to travel to Airstream events to promote her sauce and possibly capture the journey on video! Recently, Jessie has also been working on voiceovers and hopes to one day become the voice behind a cartoon character! She thinks a great place to set up a sound booth for work would be in her Airstream—how cool would that be?!

When asked about her experience with her Airstream, Jessie responded that having it changed her life. It has made her appreciate everything she has. Jessie has also grown to love the Airstream community. She said, “We all come from different backgrounds and have a love for Airstreams. Airstreams bring people together of all ages. I like the simple life and hearing about other people’s journeys. I live in Clear Lake, Minn., at the Airstream park six months out of the year and have made some new friends—everyone welcomed me when I moved in last summer.”

The Airstream community is full of people who live riveted, just like Jessie. When asked what live riveted means to her, she said, “Living Riveted means following my dreams, enjoying my journey and being happy.”
