It’s hard to believe that the summer is quickly coming to a close. With an amazing summer behind us, the recent release of our 2015 Travel Trailer models and the addition of Quietstream, our conversations are abuzz with lots of exciting things. And with a new school year kicking off for many of our littlest Airstreamers and adventurers, we got to thinking about how a “Live Riveted” summer is the best way to spend summer break.
However, the greatness of a Live Riveted summer doesn’t end when the school bus rolls around the corner. In fact, for many families, Live Riveted adventures continue well into the fall for fun weekend trips and getaways. One thing remains true though: a Live Riveted summer positively impacts the entire year. Here are 5 reasons why (in no particular order):
- A sense of adventure: For many families, a new school year brings new opportunities and decisions to try out different things. A Live Riveted summer instills in kiddos a sense of adventure that encourages them to try a new sport, audition for the school play or introduce themselves to a new friend. The confidence kids gain while on the road traveling the nation certainly gives children the confidence to pursue new things throughout the year.
- Broader perspectives: Having the chance to visit new cities and experience different cultures broadens perspectives for the young and old alike. By seeing people and lifestyles that are unlike your own, kids recognize that everyone is different and unique. Plus, broader perspectives give expanded horizons and allow kids to see old things in new ways.
- Flexibility: After a summer full of travel, kids are sure to have a greater flexibility for changes in plans and unexpected “detours.” This is key when schedules get busy and families are pulled in lots of different directions.
- Memories: There are few better things during busy seasons than memories of great experiences and lots of fun with family and friends. Throw an Airstream in the mix and you’re guaranteed a smile on even the most stressful of days! We suggest printing photos from your Live Riveted adventures to include on the cover of your child’s notebook or to pin up in their school locker. The memories will last all year until the following summer!
- Something to look forward to: If you already had one Live Riveted summer, then we’re pretty sure we can bet you’ll have another sometime soon! All throughout the school year, kids can look forward to their next adventure, whether it’s to a local campground for the weekend or on a summer trip across the nation, the Live Riveted lifestyle is one that can’t be shaken!
