Waze: If you have a smart phone and want to tackle traffic while on the road, Waze is a great app just for you! Waze is “the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app.” Users get to share real-time traffic and road information from wherever they are, so that other users are kept up-to-date to save them time and money while on the road.

Roadtrippers: Are you wanting to find the best restaurants, museums and attractions while adventuring across the country? Roadtrippers is a great resource for all of your entertainment needs. The co-founders of Roadtrippers “suffer from an incurable case of wanderlust.” So, they designed a web and mobile platform to make trip planning, booking and navigation simple and engaging! With Roadtrippers, you can access already curated road trips, plan your own route, and browse through their extensive blog posts to find restaurants, attractions, accommodations and more.

All Trails: All Trails is an application fit for nature lovers! This app allows you to search for hiking trails wherever you are in the United States. You can search by name, length or difficulty, and instantly access reviews and photos. Through the app, you can browse guides to 50,000 trails across the country and see what activities await you, ranging from hiking to fly-fishing. All Trails is all about collaboration as well- users can add new trails not in the database, share pictures and information with other adventurers.

Thousand Trails: Thousand Trails is the largest provider of RV resorts and campgrounds in North America. They have over 80 locations throughout 22 states and British Columbia, Canada. The Thousand Trails website is super helpful to anyone looking for campgrounds and RV resorts to stay at while on a road trip. The site has a “campground search” feature that allows you to search for and find the perfect campground/RV resort for you. You can search by state and region to find a location close to you. The feature also lets you search for amenities ranging from nature trails, swimming pools, a clubhouse and more.
