Every month, Cairn sends a package containing three to six carefully selected outdoor items directly to your doorstep. Among the things that might pop out of a Cairn collection: socks, gloves, flashlights, knives, first-aid kits, navigation tools, lip balm, sunscreen, and energy bars.
When you subscribe to the Original box, the enclosed gear has a total value of up to $50 and comes from established brands such as Gerber and Clif Bar, as well as innovative newcomers like Hydro Flask. Every product in the box is field-tested by Cairn staffers.
The Obsidian box takes Cairn’s concept to a premium level. This quarterly treasure chest is crammed with five to ten products valued at a minimum of $300. It’s a great way for adventure enthusiasts to discover the latest and greatest outdoor products.
Cairn subscribers are encouraged to become active members of the community by submitting product feedback, which is shared with the manufacturers. Through sharing, subscribers earn points redeemable for Cairn boxes and other rewards.
Based in the outdoor haven of Bend, Oregon, Cairn is the brainchild of former business school classmates Rob Little and Jared Peterson. Both then-students shared a passion for the outdoors and connecting with community through the outdoors. In 2014, they founded Cairn, and created a brand-new way for outdoor gear brands and lovers of the outdoors to interact.
