Founder James Demer, built his very first speaker at age 12 using a shoebox. James turned his love of making things and appreciation for music into a career in audio recording. While mixing sound on a feature film in Alaska, James cut holes in a Pelican case, installed some speakers and an amplifier circuit, and turned it into a boombox. The crew loved it, and DemerBox was born.
